  Excellent food here, I've eaten here twice recently in March and April 2017. Superbly cooked vegetables, great flavours. Good value meals cooked to a good standard coupled with good service in a really pleasant environment. Very good indeed.

  Very good food and if you choose from the fixed price menu (which has a good selection) can be fairly reasonably priced as well. Staff very pleasant. On the negative side, too many tables crammed in (no room to swing a cat!). Wasn't too busy when we arrived so starters & main course arrived in quick succession (too quick), however, it had now filled up, quite a wait for dessert.

  One of our favourite spots on Chester. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. As for the food always delicious and well presented. We helped ourselves to a three course lunch including chicken liver pate and soup as starters, slow cooked beef for the main and creme brule and banoffe for dessert. Everything was delicious especially the beef that was very tender and tasty. Would recommend to everyone.
