  Arrived at 6.30pm, gave our order at 6.45 but didn't receive our meal until 7.30! Not really what you want when you're hungry. Staff are pleasant enough but the problem is in the kitchen; the dauphinois potatoes were dry and bland, the chicken was tasty but again on the dry side - the duck a l'orange was tasty but the green beans were hard - for the amount of time we waited the veg should have been cooked properly. The couple next to us also had issues with the length of time they waited for their meal. If the restaurant was busy you could almost accept the long wait - but it was half empty. Someone seriously needs to address what's going on in the kitchen if this restaurant wants to improve its ratings.
